I can't believe I forgot about this! *slams face on desk*

As of today I have been a deviant for two years!

Okay so that isn't exactly dramatic, but I've had some overwhelmingly positive experiences since joining so I think this is somewhat of an important landmark. I was a very troubled child when I first joined up and since then I've improved greatly. To everyone, thank you for your support and friendship. I certainly hope to continue improving as an artist and person in the coming year!

It's a new year again. In just a few days I realize I'll be celebrating the second anniversary of my joining DeviantArt. A little hard to believe, really. I've improved as both a writer and an artist by leaps in bounds in that time span. Really, you should have seen the total crap I was submitting when I first joined. Anyway, RESOLUTIONS!

1!!! To pass the GED exam and take the SAT (they go hand in hand so they're both the same res)
2!!! Update fanfics and doujinshi on a more regular basis.
3!!! Do a daily devotional. Time to dust off that Bible.

WHO IS...

1] Your loudest character(OC)?
Most definitely Shirotaro. Not only is he loud in terms of volume, he's opinionated and outgoing.

2] Your shyest?
Lance, duh. He doesn't have the courage to be honest about his emotions and he's quite an introvert. I suppose we should count ourselve lucky that he doesn't have a horrible stutter on top of it...

3] Your angriest?
Again, probably Shirotaro, or his cousin Misaki. Both are hot-headed and extremely passionate about...well EVERYTHING. You'd probably feel incredibly energized when with them or tired just looking at them.

4] Your horniest?
...Misaki. It's Misaki.

5] Your poorest?
More than likely Lance's father, Ian. Until he married Adelle all he really owned were the clothes on his back and his sword, not to mention he had no emotional attachments or friends.

6] Your richest?
There's a hard one...when it comes to the really important things it's probably Lance, but Tani and Takeo have the nicest homes out of everyone...

7] Your craziest?
None of them can really be considered insane, but Hiroshi is certainly reckless and eccentric.

8] Your weirdest?
Again, Hiroshi. Misaki's pretty weird too. And Kuroboshi. And...a lot of people. But Hiroshi and Kuro probably take the cake.


WHO WAS...

1] Your first character?
Lance is the oldest one. He was the first OC I can remember making...I think i was eleven or twelve. To this day I still use him more often than anyone else.

2] Your most recent character(s)?
THe most recent ones that weren't created as part of a collaborative effort are Zain, Tiva and Adish.

DO any of your characters have pairings? If so, list one or two songs for three pairings.
1. LancexArin- About a Girl, by the Academy Is and The Best Thing, by Relient K. Lance and Arin are fun to write, by the way. Arin is standoffish and bashful, but in contrast Lance is affectionate and very open about how he feels about her(Well, he is by the time they're actually together). It usually ends up creating some amusing scenes.

2.IanxAdelle(Lance's parents, haha)- Dark Blue, by Jack's Mannequin, and Head Over Heels, by Switchfoot. Not much to say about this one...I think the songs really describe it better than I can for now.

3. GideonxRhea- The Walk, by Imogen Heap and Your Guardian Angel, by Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. As a note, I needed two songs for these guys; The Walk is a great representation of Rhea's sentiment for Gideon, and Your Guardian Angels is vice versa. They're characters from the NANOWRIMO story I did with a friend this year.

I got some awesome presents!

Okay so my oldest brother got me a Naruto illustration book. Uzumaki: The Art of Naruto it's called. Which is awesome. And I got a pikachu shirt and a Kingdom Hearts shirt from my younger brother. My older brother got me a Zelda shirt that says 'Don't make me go Zelda on you' in red lettering above a series of weapons from Ocarina of Time, which I am wearing right now. All four kids, plus my brothers fiance Clara, got Mountain Dew pajama pants. HELL. YES.

MOUNTAIN DEW.

Um, I also got the Polar Express. Like, the movie. Which is great. And some chocolate, and some kind of corny holiday themed soap, and a gift card for the movie theater. And a Denver Broncos tee shirt. Also, I got the one thing I actually asked for this year: This [link] ocarina from STL ocarinas. I'd already owned a plastic one that I'd learned to play and decided that I enjoyed it enough to want a nice, real porcelain one and this caught my eye.

It's very snowy here in Kansas right now. I haven't been outside today because I'm sane, but Sensei says it's up to her knees. We're the same height so...well I don't want to be out there, lol.

I must apologize! There will be late presentz. Sariel's of course (AAAARGH) and Night's. But Night is late with MY present anyway so bleeeeh. Lol.

Anyway, Presents are promised to be done by Jan. 10. I can't promise anything earlier with my oldest brother and his fiance dragging my family and I EVERYWHERE every minute of the day, lol. But they will get done.

I bought my younger brother a Zelda shirt too. Using the sprites from the very first game, it shows this equation:

Damn straight. My older brother got from me a Transformers shirt and the oldest got a Domo-kun plushie. Fun times.
