To those interested, I did indeed have a great time. Maranatha Bible Camp sits right off a lakefront; during free time us campers can do anything from tubing, waterslides, kayaking, The Blob, even just swimming. There's also a small skate park, rock climbing walls, a totally awesome snack shop and gift shop.
The speakers were really great. Initially, for our rallies and chapels, we had a guy named Eddie come in and talk to us about leadership. Lectures included lots of great movie clips. (E.g., the Two Towers, the Patriot, etc.) and stories about his seven kids. The band that came and played was called Julian Drive and they are SENSATIONAL. I bought a t-shirt and cd and am very satisfied over all with the experience I had at camp this year. I think the only downside is that I went with a cold that proceeded only to get worse. I had a persisting fever all of yesterday and couldn't get in the water. DX
Anyway, had a great time, am back now, missed everyone. *goes and reads the new Naruto chappie*

I found a good band while you were away too. Listening to them makes me want to cry, though ;__;. Especially their song "End" *sniffles* so so saaaaad. TT^TT
I never got to go to camp when I was a kid. I went to day-camps which was pretty much my parent's way of getting rid of me and my sister for 3 hours every day
